- Never leave a burning candle, incense or palo santo unattended. Keep it away from children, pets and anything that can catch fire.
- Burn on a heat-resistant holder or plate that catches ash and embers, in a room with some fresh air.
- Loose incense and resins burn on charcoal: set the charcoal on a layer of sand in a heat-resistant bowl and handle it with tongs. Charcoal and holders stay hot long after the smoke fades, so let them cool completely before touching or emptying.
- If you have asthma or are sensitive to smoke, use incense and palo santo with care, in a well-ventilated space.
- Candles: trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each lighting. On the first burn, let a candle burn about one hour for every inch of its diameter, and never more than four hours at a time.
- Store incense, herbs and resins sealed, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight so the scent lasts.
- Stones: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Each stone is unique in color and pattern.
Our products are made for ritual and atmosphere. They are not a substitute for medical care.

Description
First Ritual Kit — palo santo, lavender and a ceramic holder
A small box for a simple habit: open a window, light a stick, and let the room settle. We put together the pieces people ask us about most, so you can start without guessing what goes with what.
Scent and character
Palo santo opens bright and citrusy, then softens into warm wood. Lavender adds a clean, floral note. Burn them on different evenings, or one after the other.
In tradition
Palo santo has long been burned in the Andes to mark gatherings and quiet moments; lavender bundles are part of many smoke cleansing rituals. We share these as culture, not as promises.
What’s inside
- Palo Santo Wood Incense (sticks vary in size; total weight is consistent)
- Lavender Bundles, 2 bundles
- Handcrafted Palo Santo Holder, glazed ceramic (glaze and form vary; each piece unique)
How to use
- Light the tip of a palo santo stick or lavender bundle and let it flame for a few seconds.
- Gently blow out the flame so it smolders.
- Stand the palo santo in the holder’s center socket, or set the lavender bundle in its wide dish, on a heat-proof surface.
- To stop, press the tip into the holder or a bowl of sand.
Burn in a well-ventilated room on a heat-proof surface. Never leave burning incense unattended, and keep it away from children and pets. If you are sensitive to smoke, use sparingly.
