A complete resin-burning set for one of the coziest incense materials there is. Inside: a box of benzoin resin, an Anatolian sage stick, a ceramic holder, charcoal and incense sand — everything for a quiet, fragrant ritual.
Scent and character
On charcoal, benzoin releases a sweet, warm, vanilla-like balsamic scent that gives a room a cozy, calm mood. The Anatolian sage stick adds a drier herbal note, a pleasant contrast before or after the resin.
In tradition
Benzoin has been used for centuries as incense, in perfume and in ritual, often to accompany prayer, meditation, intention-setting and new beginnings. Sage is one of the oldest herbs traditionally used in smoke cleansing rituals, and many people burn it first to mark the start of the ritual. We share this as culture; many people simply enjoy the scent on a calm evening.

How to use
- Open a window or door to ventilate the room.
- Fill the ceramic holder with incense sand to insulate the heat.
- Hold a charcoal piece with tongs or tweezers, light it and set it on the sand.
- Once the charcoal turns white-hot, place a small amount of benzoin resin on top.
- Use the Anatolian sage stick before or after, as you prefer.
Burn in a well-ventilated room on a heat-proof surface. Never leave burning incense or charcoal unattended, and keep it away from children and pets. If you are sensitive to smoke, use sparingly. Use tongs; charcoal stays hot long after the smoke fades. Not recommended for people with asthma or other respiratory conditions.
