A warm, herbal ritual set, hand-packed in our atelier in Anatolia. It pairs a box of bay leaf botanical incense with an Anatolian sage stick and includes the ceramic holder, charcoal and incense sand you need to burn them.
Scent and character
Warmed on charcoal, bay leaves release their natural aromatic oils and a warm, fresh, herbal scent. Anatolian sage adds a drier, earthier note. Many people love the combination for quiet evenings, meditation or marking a new beginning at home.
In tradition
In folk tradition, bay leaf has long been associated with clarity, intention-setting and new beginnings. Sage is one of the oldest herbs traditionally used in smoke cleansing rituals, burned for centuries to mark fresh starts. We share this as culture; many people simply enjoy the scent as part of a calm ritual.

How to use
- Open a window or door to ventilate the room.
- Place the incense sand in the ceramic holder.
- Light a charcoal piece, holding it with tongs, set it on the sand and wait until it turns red-hot.
- Sprinkle a small amount of bay leaf incense onto the charcoal.
- Enjoy the aromatic smoke; use the Anatolian sage stick before or after, as you prefer.
Burn in a well-ventilated room on a heat-proof surface. Never leave burning incense or charcoal unattended, and keep it away from children and pets. If you are sensitive to smoke, use sparingly. Use tongs; charcoal stays hot long after the smoke fades. Not recommended for people with asthma or other respiratory conditions.
