Scent and character
Palo santo has a sweet, woody scent with a soft resinous warmth, while Anatolian sage smolders with a dry, earthy, herbal note. The beeswax candle adds a warm, golden glow, making the whole set feel calm and unhurried.
In tradition
Palo santo, holy wood, is traditionally burned in Andean ceremony to mark a fresh start and set an intention. Sage is one of the oldest herbs traditionally used in smoke cleansing rituals, often burned to mark new beginnings. We share this as culture; many people light them for meditation, yoga or an evening wind-down.

How to use
- Palo santo: light one end, let it burn for a few seconds, then gently blow it out and let the smoke drift. Ventilate the room.
- Anatolian sage: light the tip, let the flame go out and let the smoke drift as you move through your space.
- Beeswax candle: set it in a heat-resistant holder before lighting, away from anything flammable.
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Burn in a well-ventilated room on a heat-proof surface. Never leave burning incense or charcoal unattended, and keep it away from children and pets. If you are sensitive to smoke, use sparingly. Place the candle in a heat-resistant holder and never leave a burning candle unattended. Not recommended for people with asthma or other respiratory conditions.
