Product care
  • Never leave a burning candle, incense or palo santo unattended. Keep it away from children, pets and anything that can catch fire.
  • Burn on a heat-resistant holder or plate that catches ash and embers, in a room with some fresh air.
  • Loose incense and resins burn on charcoal: set the charcoal on a layer of sand in a heat-resistant bowl and handle it with tongs. Charcoal and holders stay hot long after the smoke fades, so let them cool completely before touching or emptying.
  • If you have asthma or are sensitive to smoke, use incense and palo santo with care, in a well-ventilated space.
  • Candles: trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each lighting. On the first burn, let a candle burn about one hour for every inch of its diameter, and never more than four hours at a time.
  • Store incense, herbs and resins sealed, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight so the scent lasts.
  • Stones: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Each stone is unique in color and pattern.

Description

Makabe Pearl Seashell Incense Holder — natural iridescent shell

The Makabe pearl seashell is a natural oyster pearl shell with an organic shape and a soft, iridescent luster. It works as an incense holder and as a decorative piece, and because it is natural, every shell differs in size, texture and color.

Look and feel

The shell’s inner surface has soft, iridescent hues and a natural pearl-like shine. Its gentle curve holds incense securely and keeps ash from scattering, and it brings a quiet, coastal touch to a shelf, altar or meditation corner.
