Elevated Ceramic Burner — footed ayaklı burner for incense and oils
A small footed burner that lifts your incense or oil above the table. Use the central well for a cone or stick, or set a tea light in the base to warm a few drops of essential oil.
Design and material
Its footed base follows a traditional design known in Turkish as ayaklı. Each burner is shaped and glazed by hand, so the glaze varies slightly from piece to piece. The earthy texture and weighted form keep it stable on an altar, shelf or side table.
What it holds

- Essential oil and water, in the shallow dish on top
How to use
- For incense, set a cone or stick in the central well, light the tip and blow out the flame so it smolders.
- To warm oil, place a tea light in the base and fill the dish above with water and a few drops of essential oil.
- Top up the water as needed and never let the dish run dry while the tea light is lit.
- Let the burner cool fully before cleaning.
Place on a heat-proof, stable surface away from anything that can catch fire. Never leave burning incense or a lit tea light unattended, and keep it away from children and pets. The holder may get hot during use.
